Chris a started training at Hornsby Dance Centre at a young age, where he studied jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary. Chris studied singing under the highly acclaimed, Richard Morfew, who teaches at the Conservatorium of Music. Chris also attended the acclaimed Newtown High School of Performing Arts. Chris holds a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management with Australian Dance Institute and studied full time at ED5 International. Chris also holds a Certificate IV in Performing Arts. Chris won a scholarship with the I Love Dance association to go and study and perform in Las Vegas in 2002. Chris has worked professionally as a recording artist and performer for kids show’s such as the Jitterbugs and has done numerous cabaret gigs throughout Sydney. Chris’s dancing experience has included taping with Tap Dogs in the opening ceremony, as well as a back up dancer in Hand In Hand, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and has performed in numerous fashion and bridal expos. And was part of team that represented Australia in jazz and hip hop for the International Dance Championship 2010, and has performed with Chris Horsey’s Tap Works.

Born 1985 in Nairne, South Australia, Daniel Jaber joined Gary Stewart’s Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) in 2004. Since 2008, Daniel has been working independently throughout Australia, Malaysia and Europe. Daniel’s solo work entitled ‘Too far again, not far enough...’ won 2 awards at the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Festival Awards for Best Dance and the Adelaide Festival Centre inSPACE:development Award. He has since created ‘Nought’, ‘Stoic’, ‘WG Spiel’ (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), ‘Crash’ (Expressions Dance Company), and is developing new work ‘Degradation’.

Artistic Director & Head of Choreography Collaboration The Project / Project Y
Paul Malek is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and Bartuccio's Dance and Promotions Centre. He has had extensive training in many dance styles, including:classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, character, kinetic awareness, improvisation, dance making, folk dancing, acrobatics, lyrical and hip hop. His choreography was featured on two episodes of Channel 10’s third season of So You Think You Can Dance. Paul was awarded Best Choreographer and People's Choice for his work Collection of Forgotten Treasures at Short Sweet Dance Melbourne 2010. Also Best Choreography for Unanswered! Short Sweet Dance Melbourne 2011.
2 and a half years ago Paul founded Collaboration The Project & it's youth component Project Y and since such time since has written, choreographed & produced the shows iOVERLOAD (Project Y), Stratagem, Climax, Parkland Avenue, Down The Rabbit Hole, Beat 'N' Move Euphoric, Inhale The Showcase, An Evolution Of Love, Time - A Story Of Youth (Project Y). He has directed the Immersed Melbourne Dance Industry Night 2009, featuring Rhonda Burchmore, and has produced Something Blew - A Triple Bill & It Sounds Silly (Project Y). His latest youth work MOVE premieres in June 2011. 

Paul travels around Australia and Internationally conducting Choreography, Contemporary, Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Lyrical and Movement workshops for all ages. Paul has developed a 12 level Jazz syllabus for Australian Teachers of Dancing, which is now taught in schools throughout Australia, Asia, United Kingdom and Norway. He is also on the board of directors for the company's international division, and in this role has travelled throughout Asia and the United Kingdom with a tour of Canada scheduled for July 2011. Paul is co-founder and owner of Metropolitan Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA Australia), a performing arts school located in Seddon. He also teaches & choreographs for numerous full time institutions, such as Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, Dance World Studios, The Space Dance and Arts Centre, Patrick Studios Australia, The Edge Performers School and Spectrum Dance.
