Celebrate Seniors Week at RAD with Friends and a Silver Swans class

The Friends of the Australian Ballet and the Royal Academy of Dance invite you to celebrate Seniors Week 2022 with a Silver Swans® ballet class for older learners. Specially designed for over-55s, Silver Swans® ballet classes help improve your mobility, posture, co-ordination and energy levels, whether you’ve never danced before or want to get back into the swing of it.

Taught by RAD Examiner, Tutor, Registered Teacher, and Silver Swans® licensee Christine Atkinson, join Friends of the Australian Ballet for a safe and adaptable ballet class open to everybody. Christine is Principal of and teaches regularly at The Ballet Class, Rose Bay, Sydney as well as privately tutoring in Australia and overseas.

Class will take place on Monday 28 March. For those attending in person, they should arrive at 1:30. Class and afternoon tea will take place from 2-4 pm. Online learners can join from 2-3 pm.

Members will be able to attend either in-person at the RAD studio in Darlinghurst, or join online. After the class, Christine will join in-person participants for afternoon tea. Places for the in-person class are strictly limited.

In person tickets begin at $30 for Members, or $50 for Non-Members. The price includes tea. Online tickets begin at $15 for Members, or $25 for Non-Members.
