Ausdance VIC popular professional learning series Inside Dance set to return

Ausdance VIC is pleased to announce that the popular professional development series, Inside Dance, is returning this month.

Inside Dance is a unique and dedicated suite of professional development seminars specifically designed to equip dance professionals with the skills they need to address common issues both in and outside of the studio. As the peak body for dance, Ausdance VIC is committed to providing learning opportunities for Victoria’s diverse creative professionals across the dance sector.

Inside Dance is designed to help creatives and dance professionals to build the knowledge and skills crucial to running a successful dance business; building a sustainable dance future; navigating the wider dance environment and remaining up to date with latest regulations and guidelines.

Program topics have been chosen through wide sector consultation and member feedback. Their objectives are to provide the sector with the latest updates and changes, sector environmental shifts, and an opportunity to ask questions of experienced professionals.

The October seminars will again cover topical issues of relevance to Victoria’s dance community.

Build your Mental Health Toolkit with counsellor, clinician and performance psychology teacher, Philippa Ziegenhardt in the first session on 12 October at 12.30pm. In the second seminar dancers will gain insights about branding, professional presentation and self-promotion to elevate their careers with talent manager and performer, Cameron Macdonald. This seminar will take place 27 October at 12 noon.

The seminars are free for Ausdance VIC members and non-members can book both sessions for $33, including a 12-month Ausdance VIC membership. Seminars will be one hour with a Q&A session and delivered via Zoom.

The 2021 series of Inside Dance proved to be very popular, and tickets were snapped up. This year, the easiest way to secure a spot is with an up-to-date Ausdance VIC membership or by signing up as a new member via the Ausdance VIC website.
