Squared Division in AustraliaWith more than 15 years of worldwide industry experience, The Squared Division is a name that all commercial dancers should want to be associated with. Now, Australian dancers may get that chance as The Squared Division will be hosting classes in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth in July.

 

Heading up The Squared Division is the two singular talents Antony Ginandjar and Ashley Evans. This powerhouse team is in high demand in Hollywood and on Aussie shores due to their renowned collaborations with some of the hottest names in the music industry, such as Ke$ha and Taylor Swift.

 

Antony and Ashley use their business to combine their interests in fashion, recording, styling and choreography to produce one-of-a-kind events. Their industry knowledge combined with their technical and creative conceptions make them a force to reckon with and a valuable asset to dancers looking to break into commercial dance.

 

The Squared Division will first be hosting a workshop on Friday, 12th July in Melbourne, located at the Ministry of Dance at 64 Sutton Street. The early class will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. for intermediate and advanced levels (dancers aged 13 and up.) The second class will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. for advanced and professional levels (dancers aged 16 and up.)

 

The second workshop will be in Sydney on Tuesday, 16th July. It will be located at Bangarra Dance Theatre at 15 Hickson Road in Walsh Bay. The early class will be from 12 to 2 p.m. and the second class from 3 to 5 p.m., both for advanced and professional levels (dancers aged 16 and up.)

 

The third and final workshop will be in Perth on Sunday, 28th July. It will take place at Talent Co., located at 3/39 Innovation Circuit in Wangara. The early class will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for intermediate and advanced levels (dancers aged 13 and up.) The second class will be from 1 to 3 p.m. for advanced and professional levels (dancers aged 16 and up.)

 

Each class costs $40, except the Perth classes, which are $45 per class. Dancers should pay in cash on the day of the class.

 

These classes are expected to fill up fast, so interested dancers are encouraged to register early. To register, email contact@thesquareddivision.com. Dancers will receive an email confirming their place in the class once they are registered. Registration is essential since limited slots are available. No walk-ins are allowed, according to class rules.
