Sioned Huws & Reina Kimura call for artists
Contemporary dance practitioners Sioned Huws and Reina Kimura (Japan/UK) invite local Sydney area people to take part in their new project through Critical Path’s Development Program. Participants do not need to have experience in dance or performance, merely an interest in movement, theatre, architecture and art.
Through their project, Huws and Kimura will explore the idea of a remembered landscape in a new space; working with partakers’ photographs to recreate the postures and poses within them. Huws describes some of her choreography itself as creating a landscape of bodies.
All collaborations between February 4 and 19 will take place at Critical Path’s Drill Hall, located at 1c New Beach Road in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney.
