Royal Caribbean casting dancers and singers

Royal Caribbean Productions holds auditions in AustraliaThis month, Royal Caribbean Productions will be touring Australia again in search of top-notch dancers and singers. From December 11, cruise line officials will be auditioning performers in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Would you like to perform while travelling the world? Could this be your big break?


The company is on the search for strong, seasoned and versatile dancers that have been technically trained. Dancers should be between 18 and 35 years old with background training in jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip-hop and commercial. Those with a strong performance ability will excel.


At each audition the choreographer will teach combinations of contrasting styles. Dancers should come prepared with their current headshot and resume, proper dance attire that best shows their physique, and jazz shoes, sneakers and heels for ladies.


Royal Caribbean Productions is also seeking professional singers aged 18-40 with vocal styles that include pop, R&B, rock, contemporary musical theatre/Broadway and jazz. A strong acting ability and foreign language fluency is a major plus. Prior to auditioning, aspiring singers will need to print out and prepare any required material. 


Also, singers should come prepared with two songs of their choice that best shows their pop/rock vocal ability, talent and personality. They should organize 16-32 bars and bring sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. No a cappella or tracks will be permitted. Note that some singers may be taught a dance/movement combination and should bring proper dance attire that best shows the figure. All singers should sure to bring their current headshot and resume.
