Girl Nation to play live at The Gov in SA

Governor HindmarshGirl Nation, an Adelaide-based teenage R&B and Pop recording group, will soon play at the Governor Hindmarsh on Sunday, April 14. The group is made up of six powerful singer/dancer teen artists including Taylah (16), Isla (15), Mateja (13), Alessia (15), Emma (16) and Rylee (15).  All of them studied at the Australian Company of Performing Arts (ACPA).

Riding on their success of live performances at last year’s Adelaide Fringe, the Royal Adelaide Show, the Adelaide Christmas Carols at Elder Park, as well as performing at the closing ceremony at the Australian Scout Jamboree, Girl Nation will now present a brand-new show. The girls will perform songs by favourite pop artists, plus new, original songs and content.

Manager Pep Rigano said, “We’re really pumped to be performing an intimate, live performance for our fans at The Gov. We have a whole new show, with new cover songs from all your favourite pop artists, as well as cool, new, original songs that we can’t wait to showcase.”

Tickets are limited and are available through www.trybooking.com.au or The Gov through Oxtix. Proceeds from the night will go towards funding a Girl Nation record.

The concert is appropriate for all ages, so students are invited to come celebrate the start to their April school holidays. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
