DLDC offers full time dance courses

DLDC, a boutique performance studio situated in Brisbane’s outer urban local, Mansfield, offers two full time dance courses – a One Year Diploma of Musical Theatre and a Two Year Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance.) Aspiring dancers are invited to audition for the courses in September.

The One Year Diploma of Musical Theatre is a 12-month course that covers all styles of performing (dancing, singing and acting), as well as other subjects to do with makeup, nutrition, music theory, audition technique, tax information and anatomy. Ideal for young performers looking to take up a career in the entertainment industry, students passing this course can finish with a tertiary ranking equivalent to an OP of 7-10.

On the other hand, the Two Year Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) is a two-year course that aims to further students’ technical abilities and performance edge. Students in this course are given insight into the production side of the industry, further arming them for a long-standing career with diverse talents and experiences. This course gives those who pass successfully a tertiary ranking equivalent to OP 2-6.

Assisting dancers in reaching their dreams, DLDC now offers hopeful students VET FEE-HELP, which, like HECS, allows students to study now and pay later. It aids aspiring dancers with tuition funds and any program costs until they enter the work force and can begin to pay it back.
