Dance with Dance B.A.N. this Summer!

Ballet Academy Northside (Dance B.A.N.) will host its Summer School 2015 on January 19–23 in Belrose, New South Wales. Participating dancers will receive world-class training that is individually designed to help them gain invaluable performance skills.

“We will guide and support your growth as a young artist by evaluating your talent and helping you reach your potential as unique dancer. This is an event not to be missed!” exclaimed B.A.N.’s website.

Principals Xanthe Geeves and Gregor Thieler, along with a handpicked selection of national and international principal artists from Brent Street and Sydney Dance Company, will be on faculty. Dancers will be able to take classes from them in Dance B.A.N.’s first-class dance facility.

The Senior Summer School
is for students aged 9-12 years from Grade 5 to an Intermediate Foundation. Classes include
ballet, ballet variation and repertoire, body-tuning Pilates and limber stretch,
contemporary and repertoire,
lyrical and musical theatre.

The Advanced Summer School
is for students aged 13-18 years at an intermediate to advanced level. Classes include
ballet, ballet variation and repertoire, pointe and technique, pas de deux,
body-tuning Pilates and limber stretch,
contemporary and repertoire,
lyrical and musical theatre. This program is “perfectly balanced to draw out the artistic potential of each dancer.”
