Bridge Dance Intensive returns in December

Bridge Dance Intensive in NSWThe Bridge Dance Intensive, presented by Ausdance NSW, returns from the 9th to 13th of December. The intensive seeks to provide development, performance and promotional opportunities for tertiary dance graduates. The program, now open for registration, is for students from Australia and New Zealand graduating from tertiary dance courses in 2013, although students that have graduated since 2011 are also welcome.

The five-day intensive provides tools to guide early career dance artists into the professional dance sector. The program includes daily technique class, intensive workshops with leading choreographers, an opportunity to present work to peers and industry professionals, as well as industry sessions covering project development, career management and raising support.

The artists teaching and leading workshops at this year’s Bridge Dance Intensive include: Byron Perry, Frances Rings, Kristina Chan and Emily Amisano. The intensive will be at Bangarra Dance Theatre Studios, located at Pier 4/5 on Hickson Road in Walsh Bay, Sydney.
