Audition for The Edge’s Full Time Courses

The Edge Performers School, located in Eltham, Victoria, offers Full Time Dance Training. Courses include a Certificate IV in Dance Performance or a Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance). Auditions for 2015 intake are now open.

The Edge’s intensive dance training is structured to launch participants into a professional career in dance. The Edge teaching faculty includes some of Australia’s best choreographers and international performers, and the program provides individual attention and a more personal approach to rigorous dance training.

For each course, class sizes are capped at 20 students. A maximum of 40 placements are offered each year. This keeps the training intimate and concentrated on the select students.

Students, which are selected on their technical ability, their dedication and their passion for furthering their skills, can choose from a variety of class subjects, including commercial jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, musical theatre, drama, singing and tap.

Graduates of The Edge have gone on to perform in productions such as Legally Blonde, Hairspray and Wicked, as well at Tokyo Disney, on various cruise lines, with Collaboration the Project, Holla Back Hip Hop Crew, Rewind Hip Hop Crew, Soul Symphony Movement and on reality TV.

Full Time auditions for 2015 intake are now open, with group auditions scheduled weekly and private auditions available by appointment.
