Audition for 2017 intake to Kelly Aykers

Kelly Aykers Full Time Dance in Melbourne recently presented a brand-new production of Broadway cult classic Pippin at Gasworks Theatre on August 12 and 13. Based on the book by Roger O. Hirson, it featured premier choreography by Kelly Aykers and the music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, as performed by Kelly Aykers’ brightest new talent.

Dancers interested in coming under the tutelage of Aykers at her school as it continues to thrive should contact the organisation for audition details. It offers five courses in premium tuition, including the Elite Dancers Course, the Certificate IV in Dance, the Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, the Diploma of Musical Theatre and the Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance).

In addition to Aykers, students will train under faculty members like Etienne Khoo, Adrian Dimitrievich, Sue-Ellen Shook, Stephen Agisilou, Dana Jolly, Phill Haddad, Donnie Dimase, Manni Carella, Daniel Ryan, Alfie Scalia, Robert Shook, Luke Alleva, Evan Pugh, Anna Burgess, Sue Sargison, Rebekah Davey, Jo Magliolo, Alarni Morgan and Vicki Patrice.

They’ll study commercial jazz, Broadway jazz, classical, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, street tap, acrobatics, Pilates, weight training and conditioning, singing, acting, small business management, safe dance, first aid, theatre makeup and hairstyles.
