CUA51520 - DIPLOMA OF DANCE (ELITE PERFORMANCE)
2 YEAR PROGRAM - FULLTIME - 17 yrs +
For pre-professional performers seeking intensive FULLTIME training 5 days per week in Commercial Dance and a government recognised Diploma in Dance.

Focussing on Commercial Dance, The Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) program at CPAC is a 2 year full-time course that delivers a Nationally Recognised Qualification in partnership with Empowerdance (RTO 40397).

Our aim is to produce industry-ready artists, so the course is comprehensive. It is designed to prepare students for a career as a dancer on Cruise Ships, in Cabaret, Theme Parks, Commercial events and other related positions. In addition to dance and performance classes, students also study anatomy, musicality, choreography, presentation, theatrical make-up and professional presentation.


CUA50220 - DIPLOMA OF MUSICAL THEATRE
2 YEAR PROGRAM - FULLTIME - 17 yrs +
For pre-professional performers seeking intensive FULLTIME training 5 days per week in Musical Theatre and a government recognised Diploma in Musical Theatre.

Focussed on producing triple threat performers, the Diploma of Musical Theatre program at CPAC is a 2 year full-time course that delivers a Nationally Recognised Qualification in partnership with Empowerdance (RTO 40397).

The program is designed to guide and prepare students with the skills and expertise to pursue sustainable and diverse careers in the performing arts. Students undertake intensive technical and industry training in the three core disciplines of dancing, singing and acting.


CUA40120 - CERTIFICATE IV IN DANCE
1 YEAR PROGRAM - FULLTIME - 16 yrs +
For pre-professional performers seeking  an introduction to FULLTIME training 5 days per week culminating in a government recognised Certificate. Students can choose to focus on Commercial Dance or Musical Theatre via elective options.

Focussing on Commercial Dance, the Certificate IV in Dance program at CPAC is a 1 year full-time course that delivers a Nationally Recognised Qualification in partnership with Empowerdance (RTO 40397)

The program provides an introduction to full-time training, building the skills required for industry success. The course is comprehensive and is designed as a starting point in preparation of students working toward a career as a dancer on Cruise Ships, in Cabaret, Theme Parks, Commercial events and other related positions. Students who commence their full-time training with Certificate IV in Dance and then upgrade to the Diploma of Dance or Diploma of Musical Theatre in a 2nd year of study may receive credit transfer for some units.


CUA30120 - CERTIFICATE III IN DANCE
2 YEAR PROGRAM - PART TIME - 14 yrs +
For talented performing arts students seeking to complement their High School Education (Recommended Year 11 or 12) with additional industry training. Students attend one day per week and gain a government recognised certificate that accrues 8 credit points towards the QCE.

The Certificate III In Dance program at CPAC offers talented Secondary School students aged 14+ a full day of Intensive performing arts training and a Government Recognised Certificate in partnership with Empowerdance (RTO 40397)

The Certificate III in Dance is a two year course for students in Year 11 at High school, or accelerated in one year for students entering Year 12.

In addition to developing their dance, vocal and performance ability, students gain a deeper education in dance, anatomy, musicality, performance and the ability to work professionally within a group. They also benefit from exposure to the wide variety of industry choreographers and guest tutors at CPAC.


CUA20120 - CERTIFICATE II IN DANCE
1 YEAR PROGRAM - PART TIME - 13 yrs +
For talented performing arts students seeking to complement their High School Education (Recommended Year 10) with additional industry training. Students attend one day per week and gain a government recognised certificate.

The Certificate II In Dance program at CPAC offers talented Secondary School students aged 13+ a full day of intensive performing arts training and a Government Recognised Certificate in partnership with Empowerdance (RTO 40397).

Students may choose to focus on either Commercial Dance OR Musical Theatre via elective opportunities. The Certificate II in Dance is a one year course for students in Year 10 at high school. The CUA20120 compliments students' Secondary School studies with 4 credit points towards the QCE.


GRADUATE COURSE
For Professional performers, and those graduated from a full-time program who wish to maintain and refine their skills remaining audition and contract ready. For the contract ready performer already graduated from a Fulltime Program, or University student wanting to sustain their standard, the Graduate Course at CPAC is designed to deliver high-quality training with less time commitment and expense. Students choose 4 classes per week from the full-time timetable.  Classes may all be on the one day, or can be across multiple days to best compliment dancer requirements or university schedule.
