Experience: I discovered African Dance in my native Paris where I learned from Guinean teacher Ana Camara. I then moved to Guadeloupe in the Caribbean and continued training there for the next five years. Since arriving in Australia in Dec 1999, I have developed my skills as a choreographer and performer in African Dance and together with Kwame Selormey (Ghana) founded AFROTONIC. To expand my repertoire, I continue to attend workshops in Australia and overseas with master dancers from Ivory Coast, Ghana, Congo, Guinea and Senegal. I am passionate about African Dance and love to share with others the joy that it has brought in my life. I am currently performing with African Percussion groups DUNUMBA (www.dunumba.com.au) and AKWAABA (www.akwaaba.com.au) in Western Australia.
Availability: Evenings and weekends I currently teach at The Chapel Space, 117 Angove Street, North Perth every Friday 6-7.30pm.
