Matthew Bourne Swan Lake 3D in Cinemas this Weekend

Initially premiering in 1995, Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake has been seen all over the world, has received more that 30 international theatre awards, and is on its way to become the longest running ballet in the West End and on Broadway. Now Bourne's Swan Lake is being presented as a 3D movie, screening in Australian cinemas this Saturday May 5 and Sunday May 6.

Next week New York will be a buzz with Youth America Grand Prix events. The International Student Ballet and Contemporary Dance Scholarship Competition finals will run from April 22-26, followed by the annually sold-out YAGP Closing Night Gala on April 27.  Then to finish off the celebrations YAGP will hold a Gala Tribute honouring Natalia Makarova. YAGP is the world’s largest student ballet scholarship competition.
