Now in its fourth year. Boldly forging pathways for emerging disabled voices in dance.
DirtyFeet is proud to launch the 2025 Emerging Makers program, a 3-day masterclass series supporting 11 emerging choreographers, with and without disability. This inclusive initiative continues to break new ground, nurturing the next generation of dance makers with disabilities through rigorous training, creative leadership, and artistic development.
Over three days, the artists will explore choreographic tools and devised-theatre methods designed to foster creative agency and deepen each artist’s unique voice in storytelling and dance.
Under the visionary leadership of Sarah-Vyne Vassallo - an artist with unseen disabilities - this program is shaped by and for disabled artists. Sarah-Vyne will unpack her creative process, offering tools, provocations, and mentorship to support the growth of each artist’s choreographic practice.
“This is more than a workshop - it's a space for artistic risk-taking, peer connection, and building futures in dance.” Sarah-Vyne Vassallo
