Victorian State Ballet’s Anastasia comes to QPAC

The Victorian State Ballet proudly presents Anastasia, a full length magical classical ballet production. Anastasia is an intriguing story based on one of the great historical mysteries of the 20th century which has only just been solved.

A new work in the VSB repertoire created in 2021, the ballet follows the narrative based predominantly on the story of the youngest daughter of the last Russian Czar, Nicholas II. A widely known and much-loved story represents an opportunity to bring to life on the stage a story full of hope, intrigue, passion, the power of unexpected love at all costs, history and so much more. The choreography by Michelle Cassar de Sierra is a stunning display of dramatic and skilful classical ballet that magically tells the tale.
