Venues chosen for Norwegian Cruise auditions

After announcing the dates for its forthcoming Australian auditions last week, Norwegian Cruise Line has now unveiled its choice of venues in each city! [See list below.]

Norwegian Creative Studios, the entertainment division of Norwegian Cruise Line, is known throughout the industry for producing the highest quality shows with talented cast members from around the world. It is currently running Broadway shows like Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, After Midnight with Broadway’s Brenda Braxton, Million Dollar Quartet, Swing, Legally Blonde, For The Record and Vegas The Show.

In addition to its Broadway Lineup, Norwegian Cruise Line’s original productions, which are amongst the most spectacular at sea, include Paradis, Elements, Lights, Camera, Music and Soul Rockin’ Nights.

Please bring picture/resume, stapled together, and come ready to dance (men must bring their own heels, as well as sneakers). Wear form-fitting clothing. Day will start with “male” dance in sneakers, and then we will move to drag/heels later in the day.

DANCERS

Seeking dancers with strong technique and experience in multiple dance styles. You will learn a variety of combinations and may be asked to tap. Must have an athletic, lean/toned body. Males should have a strong physique and be able to perform onstage shirtless when required. Female dancers should have statuesque lean silhouettes. Gymnastics, aerial training, tumbling & partnering skills are a plus! Bring a picture and resume stapled together as well as jazz shoes/character heels and tap shoes if you have them.

SINGERS

Seeking diverse performers with strong vocal abilities and dynamic personalities for R&B, Pop/Rock and Contemporary Musical Theatre. Prepare 16-32 bars of your BEST ballad and up-tempo vocals. You are required to bring sheet music in the proper key for the provided accompanist. You may be asked to learn a short dance combination. Proper dance attire must be worn.

An audition for production vocalists will be held for the shows, which are performed throughout the Norwegian fleet.
