
Tracks Dance Company Announces its 2025 Leadership Team
Tracks Dance Company is excited to announce its 2025 Artistic Leadership Team, featuring an inspiring group of artists dedicated to fostering creativity and collaboration. Together, this team is committed to driving Tracks’ creative vision and expanding on nurturing an inclusive environment where all voices thrive.
“We’re eager to embark on this exciting journey, exploring new avenues of artistic expression for our community. Tracks Dance has offered consistency and continuity through our artistic relationships over many years and many generations on Larrakia Country. Stand by for our 2025 program launch to find out how these legends will be integrated across our programs,” says David McMicken.
The 2025 Leadership Team consists of Alyson Evans, Bec Reid, David McMicken, James Mangohig, Jenelle Saunders, and Rachael Wallis.
Alyson leverages her extensive experience in cultural development and social change, along with her MFA in Cultural Leadership, to facilitate Choreolab, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse voices thrive in exploring choreography and self-expression.
Bec is a performer, producer, director, and choreographer who transforms the mundane into the extraordinary through dynamic and participatory experiences. With over 20 years of passionate collaboration, she brings together artists and communities from local to global stages, creating revelatory moments that celebrate movement and creativity.
With a collaborative ethos cultivated over 4+ decades, David excels in teamwork, encouraging participants to co-create and express their unique voices. He is very excited to welcome the new Artistic Leadership Team to continue Tracks’ 35 year long legacy.
James is an ARIA Award-winning music producer whose vibrant connection to diverse cultural expressions enriches his collaborative efforts across the artistic landscape. Renowned for producing acclaimed soundtracks, he inspires innovative explorations of music that elevates the dance experience.
Jenelle is a dynamic dance artist and educator, she brings her passion for contemporary movement to life through engaging community projects. With a rich background in both urban and remote education, she inspires creativity and connection.
Rachael’s deep roots among First Nations communities nationally and internationally empower her to create an inclusive and culturally rich environment that inspires participants to explore their creative expressions through dance and leadership.
