Storytime Ballet by The Australian BalletOn September 13, tickets went on sale to the general public for The Australian Ballet’s new Storytime Ballet Tour. A spellbinding ballet experience for children aged three and up, this year’s production will be Coppélia.

Running for under an hour and brimming with magic tricks, life-size toys and enchanting costumes, Coppélia will tour to venues across VIC, NSW and ACT this December and January. This narrated version promises to surprise and delight little girls and boys and have them dancing all the way home.

The production features the original choreography by Arthur Saint-Leon, with additional choreography by David McAllister. The music was composed by Léo Delibes and was recorded by ABC Classics / Orchestra Victoria, conducted by Barry Wordsworth. Kristian Fredrikson designed the costumes and Hugh Colman designed the sets while Jon Buswell lit up the stage.
