The Australian Ballet School Showcase 2022 set to take centre stage in Melbourne!
More than 100 full-time students of The Australian Ballet School will take to the stage when the School’s annual showcase returns in 2022. As Theatre People quoted in 2019, at the last Showcase before the big pause, “There was a lot of love in the room, with bursts of eager applause heard at many moments throughout the show.” Lovers of ballet will delight in experiencing brand new work created by Australian ballet legends for the School’s students. From classical to contemporary, the eclectic program includes inspiring new works by Stephen Baynes, Simon Dow, Lucas Jervies, Paul Knobloch and David McAllister AC.
The Showcase program includes Pas De Fleurs staged by Sabrina Lenzi and Joanne Michel; Wolfgang Dance choreographed by Simon Dow; Schubert Dances choreographed by Stephen Baynes; Scottish Fantasy choreographed by Paul Knobloch; Swan Lake Variations choreographed by David McAllister AC
Teeter choreographed by Simon Dow; In Memory Of A Moment choreographed by Paul Knobloch; π choreographed by Lucas Jervies; and El Tango choreographed by Stephen Baynes.
