The 2014 Australian Tango Dance Challenge

The Australian Tango Dance Challenge is for amateur Australia-based tango dance couples. Categories include Beginners (up to 18 months in tango) and Open Level.

Qualifying rounds for the Australian Tango Dance Challenge (ATDC) program will be in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney between February and April.

On Friday, April 18, the program will include extra rounds in Sydney for interstate and country couples. On the same day, Beginner Semi Finals and Finals will commence in Bondi.

On Saturday, April 19, there will be open Semi-Finals with STS Festival International Judges in Bondi. On the same day, open Finals with STS Festival International Judges will happen in Marrickville.

The Grand Prize for the Open Level winning couple is tickets from Sydney to Buenos Aires (and back) plus six nights at Mariposita de San Telmo (accommodation and daily classes courtesy of Mariposita Escuela de Tango.)
