Sydney Dance Company’s Autumn School Holiday Workshops

Young dancers will have fun, develop their dance skills and be taught by the best in the industry at Sydney Dance Company’s Autumn School Holiday Workshops, running 14-24 April.

Whether dancers are just starting out or already dancing at an advanced level, they’ll learn from a powerhouse lineup of teaching talent across a range of styles—from ballet to jazz to hip hop and beyond.

Mia Polinelli, Fabio Lo Giudice, Catrina Ralph, and Rennard Velasco are a few of the teachers at this year’s autumn school holiday workshops.

Mia Polinelli is currently a Teaching Artist for Sydney Dance Company and enjoys delivering creative dance workshops to primary and secondary schools all over Australia. Mia has training in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, and tap.

Fabio Lo Giudice is a former soloist with the Royal New Zealand Ballet and dancer with Joffrey Ballet (USA) and West Australian Ballet. He has starred in iconic classical and contemporary ballet roles across the globe.  

A musical theatre powerhouse with stage credits including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, A Chorus Line, and Singin’ in the Rain, Catrina Ralph brings versatility and vibrant theatre energy to every class.

Rennard Velasco is a performer/actor/choreographer and is based in Sydney, Australia. Rennard graduated from his Advance Diploma in Performing Arts at Ed5 International in 2017. He started training as a Hip Hop dancer in 2014 with some of Australia’s best Hip Hop crews such as Kookies n Kream and The Pioneers, accomplishing many achievements at World’s Hip Hop International and World Supremacy Battlegrounds.

With styles and levels to suit every young dancer, Sydney Dance Company’s Autumn School Workshop is the perfect way to stay active, build confidence, and be inspired by some of the best in the industry. 

Classes will take place at the Sydney Dance Company Studios. These workshops are aimed at dancers ages 5-18 from beginner to advanced levels. Those interested may choose from 2-day, 1 day or afternoon workshops.
