
Summer Soirée this December at the Thomas Dixon Centre
An extraordinary showcase of dance, art and music Queensland Ballet Academy presents Summer Soirée – a sophisticated performance experience combining dance, art and music in collaboration with Philip Bacon Galleries and internationally-acclaimed Australian artist, Tim Storrier AM.
Artistically stimulating and exclusively chic, this unique event will be a stunning fusion of Storrier’s works with original neo-classical and contemporary choreography by Natalie Weir, Paul Boyd and Louise Deleur, performed by Queensland Ballet Academy dancers to music performed by Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra.
An extraordinary showcase of Australian art, Australian choreographers and Australia’s emerging dance talent, Summer Soirée promises to offer a classy, uniquely Australian event.
Summer Soirée will take place in the Talbot Theatre at the Thomas Dixon Centre on Thursday 8 December at 7:30 pm, Friday 9 December at 7:30 pm, and Saturday 10 December at 1:30 pm and 7 pm.
The premiere performance of Queensland Ballet Academy’s 2022 Summer Soirée on Thursday 8 December is a fundraising event for Queensland Ballet Academy. In addition to tickets for the performance only, there is an option to purchase a Soirée Party Pass for $500. Tickets for the performances on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December are priced for the performance only.
Your Soirée Party Pass Includes: In-Studio Experience, Pre-Performance Party, Performance Ticket, Interval Refreshment, and Post-Performance Celebration (for guests aged 18+).
