‘Storytime Ballet’ touring till end of month

Storytime Ballet: The Sleeping BeautyThe Australian Ballet’s Storytime Ballet: The Sleeping Beauty is in the midst of its national tour. An enchanting ballet experience for children aged 3 and up, this production kicked off its multi-city performance calendar at Arts Centre Melbourne on December 13. Since then it has performed at Sydney Opera House and The Concourse in Chatswood.

 

On January 10 and 11, this live, interactive production featuring fairies in glittering tutus, storybook characters and a prince’s quest will be presented at the Events Centre in Caloundra. Next up is The Arts Centre Gold Coast on January 13, Brisbane Powerhouse on January 16–20 and Bunjil Place Narre Warren on January 24 and 25.

 

All set to Tchaikovsky’s hum-along score, Storytime Ballet: The Sleeping Beauty is limited to 50 minutes. Kids are invited to dress up in their favourite ballet-inspired outfit to watch darling characters like Red Riding Hood and Cinderella in this narrated version of The Sleeping Beauty.
