Shake Off the Winter Chills with DRILL’s Winter Moves Workshop!
Looking for a fun way to warm up this winter? DRILL Performance is thrilled to announce a 2-hour movement workshop, Winter Moves, designed for kids aged 9–12 at Moonah Arts Centre in Nipaluna/Hobart. No dance experience is needed—just bring your energy and a desire to have fun!
Set for Wednesday, 9 July, from 10 am to 12 pm, this exciting workshop, led by DRILL’s Artistic Director Tara Robertson, invites young movers to dive into a morning of creativity and connection. Start with lively warm-up games, learn funky choreography, and team up to create your own unique movement pieces. It’s all about sparking imagination, collaborating with new friends, and enjoying the joy of dance in a welcoming environment.
DRILL, Nipaluna/Hobart’s vibrant youth dance company, is dedicated to empowering young people in southern Lutruwita/Tasmania. Through Winter Moves, participants will explore self-expression, build confidence, and take ownership of their creative journey in a supportive, collaborative setting.
Tickets are just $30 + a small processing fee, and spaces are limited, so don’t miss out! Book now and join DRILL to dance away the winter blues. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned mover, come along and get moving together!
