Scholarship Awards back at AUS Ballet School
For the second time, The Australian Ballet School will offer students from around Australia and overseas the chance to participate in The Australian Ballet School Scholarship Awards. Set for June 8-10, the event welcomes promising young dancers aged 10-17 who aspire to train in the School’s elite, vocational training programme to compete for scholarships.
Entrants will attend Masterclasses taught by Teaching Staff of The Australian Ballet School and present a Classical Variation with adjudication by staff of the School.
All activities will be held at The Australian Ballet School and the Melbourne State Theatre.
The closing date for all applications is May 4, 2018. However, class sizes will be capped and may book out prior to the advertised closing date.
The Awards will give out three full One-Year Scholarships to train at the School in 2019. Six runner-up prizes include Two-Week Training Opportunities to study at the School in 2019.
