2014 Come Together Dance Convention in Australia sponsored by Dance InformaThe Come Together Dance Convention, set for October 2-4, is gearing up to be one of the most inspirational, informative and invigorating dance events in Australia this year! The convention brings together dance lovers of all ages, with a myriad of in-depth and inspirational seminars for teachers covering a range of subjects that will benefit their personal development, business and teaching skills, as well as workshops and masterclasses for students led by a selection of Australia’s finest teachers and choreographers.

 

Held at Surfers Paradise on the beautiful Gold Coast Queensland, the convention is a chance to “come together” with other dance professionals and enthusiasts, and in turn, broaden personal horizons. Attendees are welcome to socialise and create new friends and business associates. Plus, they can learn new skills and browse the wonderful exhibitions.

It will present a stellar line-up of Australia’s leading dance minds, including inspirational speaker Misty Lown, Progressing Ballet Technique developer Marie Walton-Mahon, choreographer and producer Paul Malek, choreographer and educator Debbie Ellis, entrepreneur Clint Salter, physiotherapist Lisa Howell
 and psychologist Pata Lilley. Lucinda Dunn OAM, the recently retired principal dancer of The Australian Ballet who will soon become the artistic director of the Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy, will also teach at the convention.

 

Student Dance Workshops will be led by Walton-Mahon, Malek and Ellis, along with Shay Stafford, Gaz Griffiths, Stephen Tannos, Marko Panzic, Troy Phillips, Jesse Rasmussen, Yvette Lee and Anthony Ikin. Schedules for both junior and senior students are available.
