Open Masterclasses at Australian Ballet School

Dance students aged 9-17 years old can now enjoy the exclusive opportunity to work with some of Australia’s leading dance teachers through The Australian Ballet School’s Open Masterclasses.

The masterclasses give participants the opportunity to experience firsthand the high level of expertise of Australia’s national centre of excellence in dance training. Open masterclasses run for approximately 1.5 hours and are held in major Australian capital cities every year.

This year, The Australian Ballet School’s Open Masterclasses will be held in:

Melbourne – 16 March

Brisbane – 18 May

Sydney – 25 May

Launceston – 14 or 15 June (TBC)

Cairns – 13 or 14 July  (TBC)

Adelaide – 21 or 22 July  (TBC)

Perth – 23 or 24 July (TBC)

All students are welcome to attend the masterclasses, regardless of previous dance experience. However, as there are limited places available and it is a very popular programme, early application is advised.
