We may all be moving around a little more right now, but life has not yet reached a place that feels normal for many (just yet). However, it doesn’t mean we can’t dance our feelings out, stay fit and enjoy a performance from the comfort of our lounge rooms with a friend. When British/Australian Dancer and Actress, Lara Bianca Pilcher experienced the arts industry closures, she took on the creative challenge of creating her own work and being a film crew of one. Lara created a short film “I don’t diet, Post Isolation” and her latest character, NIGELA’ra and with more than 1500k+ hits on Facebook within a few days (and counting) she has brought joy to many around the world. CoVid Lab; nine performances
With some restrictions easing in WA, the West Australian Ballet will now host some in person events at the West Australian Ballet Centre starting with CoVid Lab. CoVid Lab will be nine performances from 17th June to 27th and is a creative showcase of solos and duos created by their dancers to one of four set music tracks and with physical distancing considered in choreography. Following a solo and/or duo performance, a workshop ‘twist’ will take place for approximately one hour. To find out more visit thewest.com.au

Dance Works London Ballet class
Kim White and Royal Ballet First Artist Erico Montes (co-artistic Directors of Danceworks Ballet Academy) are teaching daily discipline online classes for advanced students, working on challenging steps that take time and deep understanding to master.
