Livestream The Australian Ballet School’s 60th Anniversary Gala
The Australian Ballet School is thrilled to announce their 60th Anniversary Gala will be livestreamed via Australian Digital Concert Hall. The event will be streamed live from Regent Theatre in Melbourne on 6 October at 7:30 pm AEST.
This spectacular program honours the School’s 60-year legacy of nurturing talent and producing generations of exceptional artists who shine on global stages and significantly contribute to dance. Featuring dazzling performances by senior students, with appearances by alumni and guest artists from Queensland Ballet, West Australian Ballet, and The Australian Ballet.
Featured Artists include The Australian Ballet School: Level 7 and Level 8 Students; Queensland Ballet: Sophie Zoricic, Vito Bernasconi; West Australian Ballet: Nikki Blain, Adam Alzaim; and The Australian Ballet: Montana Rubin and Lucien Xu.
The program will include Four Seasons by Graeme Murphy AO (Winter), Kevin Jackson (Spring), Serena Graham (Autumn), and Lucas Jervies (Summer); No. 5 by Dani Rowe with music performed live onstage by ANAM musicians James Armstrong (violin) and Matthew Gracie (piano); and Catch.Up. by Jill Ogai with music performed live onstage by the composer, Peter Wilson (piano).
Additional pieces include Still Life by Jack Lister, Il Twist by Polly Hilton, and Gracias a la vida by Jai Fauchon.
