Spectrum offers nationally accredited courses, including the CUA40120 Certificate IV in Dance (12 months), the SDS Advanced Performance Program (Private) (12 months), and a unique Dual Diploma (2 years) combining the CUA50220 Diploma of Musical Theatre and the CUA51520 Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance). These qualifications are awarded by Swinburne University of Technology (RTO #3059) and delivered by Spectrum Global Arts, equipping students with the coveted “triple threat” skills in dance, singing, and acting. This holistic training sets students apart in the competitive performing arts industry.
The curriculum at Spectrum is expansive, covering a wide range of disciplines to ensure well-rounded development. Students receive expert instruction in classical ballet, jazz, pas de deux, hip hop, tap, modern/contemporary, lyrical, commercial dance, acrobatics, and artistry. Beyond dance, the program includes stage makeup, group and private singing, acting, stagecraft, musical theatre, partnering, choreography, fitness training, and auditioning techniques. Additional subjects like business management and industry knowledge prepare students for the practical realities of a professional career.
