JCMOD offers Summer School in Melbourne
Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance (JCMOD) will once again hold a summer dance program to start the New Year off right. The Summer School is scheduled for Monday, January 11 to Friday, January 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Summer School at JCMOD is a great holiday activity to keep the children entertained and active. Throughout the week-long Summer School, students can learn from some of Australia’s leading choreographers, including Jason Coleman himself. Classes are comprehensive and varied, including styles like jazz, Broadway, hip-hop, commercial, contemporary, vocal and acting.
The program focuses on learning choreography, developing on-set skills, costuming, performance and what it’s like to perform in front of an audience. On the final day, participants perform for their family and friends in their very own showcase.
Taking place at JCMOD’s main campus in North Melbourne, VIC, the Summer School costs $550 per child. For further information or to register, visit www.theministryofdance.com.au or call 03 9329 6770.
