EverNow 2024’s epic and free Australian exclusive!

International sky theatre masters Groupe F will present their Australian-exclusive spectacular by the shores of the Derbarl Yerrigan as a highlight of EverNow 2024. 

After thrilling audiences at multiple Olympic Games ceremonies and other major global events, the French masters of light and fire will bring their latest epic outdoor public performance From the Light Flow: Bena Koorliny to Perth in collaboration with leading Noongar artist Dr Richard Walley OAM. 

Over four nights from 3 – 6 October, Burswood Park will be transformed into a dazzling display of light, fire and live performance created especially as a unique immersive experience for audiences in Perth. 

Be inspired by the beauty and wonder of From the Light Flow: Bena Koorliny (meaning light travelling) as nature glows and flourishes in a series of dazzling towers of light, larger-than-life illuminations, flame and epic performance. Celebrate the biodiversity of this place and the precious harmony of our natural world with this hypnotic light and sound spectacle.

Groupe F have worked closely with one of Australia’s leading performers and musicians, Dr Richard Walley OAM alongside Noongar storyteller and artist Alton Walley, to bring their latest extraordinary outdoor public performance to Perth.  

Renowned for the unforgettable impact and scale of their unique blend of sky theatre for more than 30 years, Groupe F have delighted spectators around the world with their monumental and emotionally moving celebrations for the Barcelona, Athens and Rio De Janeiro Olympics, 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2000 millennia at the Eiffel Tower.

This special collaboration is a powerful technical and artistic lens through which visitors can see and feel a deeper connection with the luminous natural world that we are so much a part of.”

From the Light Flow: Bena Koorliny is a walk-through experience of approximately 40 minutes duration, running from 7pm to closing time at 10pm, 3 – 6 October at Burswood Park.

The return of EverNow follows its inaugural success in 2023 as a home-grown signature event grounded firmly on Noongar Boodjar and inspired by our State’s rich biodiversity and creativity. 

EverNow invites visitors and locals alike to light up their senses, reconnect with Country and celebrate the magic and wonder of Western Australia over one amazing, extended weekend during Kambarang, the Noongar season of birth and renewal.
