EOI for NSW Department of Education Creative Arts Conference

EOI for NSW Department of Education Creative Arts Conference

The NSW Department of Education’s Creative Arts curriculum team is currently seeking expressions of interest from people or organisations who would like to present at their upcoming Creative Arts Conference: Leading Together – Curriculum Change in Creative Arts Classrooms. The conference takes place 9 and 10 December at Wyndham College, Nirimba Education Precinct.

The Creative Arts Conference brings together teachers, school leaders, artists and industry professionals to celebrate creativity, share insights, and explore the new and existing secondary creative arts syllabuses. Your work in Performing Arts could align with the conference’s mission for all creative arts teachers and leaders to connect with colleagues, learn about curriculum change, create with experts and be inspired.

As a presenter, you would be offered: free conference registration; opportunities to engage with other creative arts practitioners and educators; and opportunities to work with NSW Department of Education creative arts curriculum specialists to collaboratively strengthen creative arts learning in the first curriculum reform in NSW creative arts education for over 20 years.

NSW Department of Education Creative Arts would like to invite you to share a presentation, workshop or panel discussion at the conference by submitting this expression of interest by Friday 26 July 4pm.

They are developing a program that will deepen understanding of both creative arts as a whole, and the specific subjects of dance, drama, music and visual arts. Some resources and ideas to consider when completing your expression of interest include:
