Entries closing for Sydney Eisteddfod 2018

Australian Ballet CompetitionThe Sydney Eisteddfod is a competitive performing arts festival that attracts approximately 35,000 entrants each year. Its program boasts 300+ classical and contemporary events. Dancers, singers, actors, musicians, composers, bands, choirs and orchestras have the chance to perform and compete in venues across Sydney.

 

Each year, the main dance highlights are the Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Scholarship and the Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions.

 

The 2018 Ballet Scholarship Finals are scheduled for Sunday, August 26 at Sydney Opera House. Then the Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions is set for Sunday, September 23 at the University of New South Wales.

 

Entries will soon close for this year’s Sydney Eisteddfod events. Dancers can enter the categories for ballet, jazz, contemporary, demi-character and modern expressive/lyrical through March 13.
