‘Elmo’s Circus Dream’ brings ‘Sesame Street’ magic to Geelong this winter

The internationally loved characters of Sesame Street are delighting audiences in Geelong this winter as Elmo’s Circus Dream continues its season under the Big Top at Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre through 2 August 2026. Families have just three more weeks to experience this spectacular live production featuring Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Grover, Bert and Ernie in an unforgettable circus adventure.

Presented by Circus Royale, Elmo’s Circus Dream combines the magic of Sesame Street with world-class circus artistry, creating a unique family entertainment experience unlike anything else touring Australia.

The original production follows Elmo as a magical bedtime story transports him into a whimsical circus world where anything is possible and dreams really do come true. Alongside his Sesame Street friends, Elmo embarks on an exciting journey filled with music, laughter, friendship and spectacular live entertainment.

Audiences can expect a circus-style remix of the iconic Sesame Street theme alongside thrilling acrobatics, hilarious clowning, dazzling illusions, the adrenaline-pumping Wheel of Steel, motorcycle daredevils and world-class jugglers.

Featuring original Sesame Street voice recordings from New York and developed exclusively for this Australian tour, Elmo’s Circus Dream celebrates friendship, courage, creativity and the power of believing in yourself. The production has been carefully designed to entertain both children and adults, making it the perfect family outing during the winter school holiday period.

Following successful seasons throughout Melbourne, the production is now playing in Geelong for one of its longest Victorian engagements, giving local families the opportunity to experience the magic of Sesame Street right on their doorstep.
