Deadline extended for inaugural Australasian Ballet Challenge

Australian ballet competition 2016The inaugural Australasian Ballet Challenge, set for January 16-17, 2016, has extended its deadline for entries to Monday, January 4. With a cash pool of $5,000 including a First Prize of $2,000, this competition is not to be missed!

 

With a leading international jury, students will be put through their steps over this two-day Ballet Challenge taking place at The Cube Theatre in Wodonga, Victoria. Royal Ballet Guest Principal Artist Mara Galeazzi will be a part of the prestigious international judging panel.

 

Dancers can enter in one of three age groups: Senior (age 15-19), Junior (age 12-14) or Sub-Junior (age 8-11.) Every age group has the opportunity to come and present themselves and their wonderful training.

This competition is an initiative of PROJECTion Dance Inc., which will also host its inaugural Summer Dance Camp at Howman’s Gap near Falls Creek following the event. Set in the stunning Victorian Alps at the outstanding YMCA Alpine Centre, this summer intensive will include classes from the best in the business, as well as some awesome outdoor activities.
