Dance, Celebrate, Be You at Sprung Dance Theatre’s Dis-Co Ball

Remember that feeling when you’re at a party and everything just clicks? The music’s pumping, you’re surrounded by friends, and you can truly be yourself? Now imagine that vibe cranked up to eleven, with a healthy dose of glitter and glamour thrown in.

Sprung Dance Theatre’s Dis-Co Ball is a night where artists with disability and/or who are d/Deaf gather alongside the wider community, featuring pop-up performances, dance, and creative expressions that redefine glamour and inclusivity.

Everyone’s invited to let loose, have fun, and celebrate what makes each of us unique!

Here’s what went down last year: Over 180 people from all walks of life hit the dance floor together. 20+ amazing artists with disability and/or d/Deaf showed off their talents. Loads of laughs, new friendships, and impressive dance moves.

This year, Sprung is turning it up a notch. Whether you’re a dancing queen or a bit more low-key, everyone has a place at Dis-Co Ball.

What to expect: A judgment-free zone where you can be 100% yourself. Awesome tunes that’ll get everyone moving (yes, even you!). Pop-up performances that’ll make your jaw drop. A chance to dress up however you like – it’s your night to shine.

This year’s Dis-Co Ball takes place Sat November 23 at A&I Hall, Bangalow. Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the show runs from 6-7:30 pm. Tickets are $40 General Admission and $20 for Children under 12. There will be an additional accessible bathroom and the event will be Auslan interpreted.
