Dance, Art & Wine combine for unique WA series

Remnant Dance in A Wine Cellar ShowingNow in its fifth year, Remnant Dance, a collective made up of independent Western Australia-based dance artists, will present Winery Psalms on April 15-21 in the Swan Valley. Winery Psalms is a unique performance exhibition composed of six short contemporary dance theatre pieces each matched with wine tasting.

Hosted by Fillaudeau’s Restaurant and featuring wines by Pinelli Estate, this experimental and highly collaborative performance is being touted as one “not to be missed.”

During the exhibition, Remnant Dance will also be holding an art raffle. The two pieces to be won include “Light Movement Study”, a reproduction of the original watercolour work that traveled with the dance collective to Myanmar, and “Katie’s Chair 1”, a work developed from the preliminary drawings and sketches for Winery Psalms.

The raffle winners will be drawn on the closing night, April 21. The winners will be notified via www.remnantdance.com.au. Raffle tickets are $5 each, or $20 for a five-ticket bundle.
