Creative Studios by Norwegian Cruise Line are Coming to VDF2022

Creative Studios by Norwegian Cruise Line will have an open dancer audition at Victorian Dance Festival 2022 on April 23 at 3 pm.

Norwegian Cruise Studios deliver A-list productions directed and choreographed by renowned professionals like Warren Carlyle, Patti Wilcox, Tiger Martina, Chase Benz, and Mark Kanemura. They offer competitive salaries, paid rehearsals, housing, and professional working environments. It’s an exciting time to become a part of the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings family!

Creative Studios by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings casts dancers for productions such as Footloose, Burn The Floor, Choir of Man, Velvet, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots and After Midnight for Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Sea Cruise and Oceania Cruises. 

On Saturday April 23, Creative Studios will run a Cruise Repertoire masterclass and Q&A where you can get a feel for Norwegian’s productions and style, and see what it’s like to be a professional dancer at sea! It also gives you a chance to get in front of the casting agents before the Saturday afternoon audition. The masterclass is part of the VDF Weekend lineup, and only available to VDF ticket holders.

At 3pm on Saturday April 23, Creative Studios will hold an open dancer audition for dancers 18 and over. Check-In begins at 2:15 pm at the Exhibition Pavilion, Melbourne Showgrounds. Please note, you do not a VDF ticket to audition.  

Creative Studios is seeking exceptional, versatile dancers with strong technique and experience in multiple dance styles. Height ranges desired for females are between 5’3 – 5’8. Height ranges desired for males are between 5’9 – 6’1.

Due to the physical requirements of Creative Studios shows, cast members should be at the peak of their fitness levels. Dancers should have outstanding performance quality and stage presence. Gymnastics, aerial training, tumbling & partnering skills are a plus! Casting all ethnicities!

Please be prepared to learn multiple dance combinations, and bring a current headshot and resume. Female Dancers should be prepared to dance in heels and flats.
