Chunky Move holds auditions, accepts EOIs
Chunky Move, a contemporary dance company led by Anouk van Dijk and based in Melbourne, has recently announced a change in dates for its 2016 company auditions. They will now be held on Friday-Sunday, February 26-28 (not on January 29-31, as originally communicated.)
Van Dijk will be hiring Australian professional dancers for a new work set to premiere in 2017. For further information, click here.
Also, Chunky Move is currently accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from choreographers who would be interested in creating a new work for the company’s Next Move program. This year, the company will commission two artists to generate a new short work each. These works will be presented over a two-week season in September at the Chunky Move Studios.
EOIs are due no later than midnight on Friday, January 29. They’re open to Australian dancemakers with at least five years of professional practice. For more information, send questions to Ben Ryan at ben@chunkymove.com.au or call 03 9645 5188.
