The three-day extravaganza features a series of performances and workshops led by national and worldwide Latin dance champions, in addition to live music from award winning musicians. The Canberra
Latin Dance Festival is the perfect opportunity to experience Latin expression and celebration.

Supported in it’s inaugural season by the ACT Government, the festival includes two days of workshops by dance professionals as well as three nights of performances by world champions, international Latin dancers and musicians, and the best of local talent.

Internationally acclaimed Latin entertainer and dancer Jaime Jesus joins Katherine Koulizakis to serve as the official event organizers. Know as one of Sydney’s prolific event organising duos, the two will be unveiling workshops and performances over the course of this year. Jaime Jesus, who taught dance in more than 40 cities across the globe, is widely recognised as one of the most influential people in Australia’s Latin dance and music community.

Festival Directors Raquel and Andrea Paez hope the event will allow people of all ages to better get a taste of Latin culture.
