Brent Street holds last audition for 2016 entry
Brent Street performing arts centre in Sydney offers numerous nationally recognised training courses. Full time options include a Certificate IV in Dance, a Diploma of Musical Theatre, a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, and a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management.

In 2016, the Certificate IV in Dance will be offered in three streams – the Triple Threat, the Classical/ Contemporary and the Part-time (which requires two years.) This course presents some of the best training in the industry and shows strong results, producing dancers like So You Think You Can Dance Australia champion Michael Dameski and countless working professionals across musical theatre, contemporary companies and commercial dance.
The Diploma of Musical Theatre was programmed in consultation with renowned performing artists, including Caroline O’Connor. Brent Street’s one-year, full-time course gives aspiring musical theatre professionals the opportunity to refine and extend all three Broadway performance skill sets.
Then the Certificate IV and Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management continue the Brent Street tradition of excellence in dance training. These courses focuses on the role of a dance teacher, as well as developing skills required to run a successful dance studio. The Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management is a 20-week (six month) course taught by industry professionals.
