Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) Dance Learn Connect Professional Development Day provides dance teachers, studio owners and aspiring dance teachers of all levels and ages with opportunities and practical tools to grow and learn from dance industry professionals, marketing strategists, business coaches, mentors and masters in dance teacher education.

Participants will attend dynamic, informative and practical education sessions in a nurturing and positive online environment.

There is something for everyone at Dance Learn Connect, and studio owners are encouraged to make this a team experience by including everyone who is involved in the success of your school.

All attendees will leave with a renewed sense of self-confidence – feeling motivated, passionate and inspired to launch into 2022 and ready to make a difference in their lives and in those of their students, schools and businesses!

This year’s Dance Learn Connect 2022 takes place on 6 February from 9:00 AM to 4 PM (Qld Time) and will include motivational speakers, studio experts, systems of training content, business experts, and an examiner panel.

Key presenters Anthony Ikin and Katrina McCarter will share their secrets of success with you as they deliver inspiration, excitement and passion to keep the energy flowing throughout the day.

A of dance industry professionals including Rohan Browne, Nicole Ashfield, Bonnie Muir and Andrea Dalton will present a selection of Systems of Training content including Bronze Medal and Bronze Star Ballet revision, New Intermediate Tap (compulsory in 2022), New Advanced Jazz and Level 7 Musical Theatre (released in 2021).

The programme will also contain innovative dance training sessions including Ballet for Boys with Mark Pace, Introducing Hip Hop to Younger Grades with Bonnie Muir and Teaching Improvisation with Paul Malek.

Other relevant studio topics include mental health for children, an introduction to the new ATOD online teaching resource platform, an introduction to AcroArts, Ask the Examiner Q&A, plus much more.
