Australian Dance Theatre Offers School Holiday Program

Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) is pleased to offer a five-day School Holiday Program for aspiring dancers aged 8 to 15. A Junior and Senior workshop will be offered Monday, January 17 through Friday, January 21.

Through learning movement sequences, creative tasks and games, this opportunity is designed to give young people an insight into contemporary dance and ADT. 

Australian Dance Theatre is Australia’s pre-eminent contemporary dance company, and the longest running in the country. For over 50 years Australian Dance Theatre has pioneered new work that has contributed to defining dance in this region.

Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Australian Dance Theatre is at the forefront of Australian contemporary dance, committed to creating dance works of the highest standard that are intellectually and artistically compelling.

Led by ADT Company Artists, and with a focus on creative thinking, expression, imagination and fun, these workshops are a great way to spend the school holidays. No prior experience is required! 

Junior classes will take place from 9:30-10:45 AM each day, and are for students ages 8-11. Cost is $30 for a one-day pass, and $120 for a week-long pass. Senior classes will take place from 11:15 AM-12:30 PM each day, and are for students ages 12-15. Cost is $25 for a one-day pass, and $125 for a week-long pass.
