Ausdance Till Dusk Celebrates International Dance Day
Ausdance NSW aims to celebrate International Dance Day in an exciting new way. 2023 will see a larger-than-life festival settle in Sydney’s iconic Martin Place with a stage full of performances by students, professional artists and community members. Festivals are a great way to bring communities together and create lasting share experiences celebrating a cause.
“I am excited to present the first year of ‘Ausdance Till Dusk’ an exhilarating dance festival bringing together that dance community and broader public to celebrate the creative and diverse artistry of NSW performers, students and organisations. This festival welcomes everyone, whether you are a professional dancer, a student, parent or a dance enthusiast. The day will be programmed with food, stalls and performances from both professional companies and dance schools and youth companies. The aim is to celebrate DANCE!
Ausdance is thrilled to announce the following companies will be performing: Wagana Dancers, AUSTI.Dance & Physical Theatre, Bonnie Curtis Projects, Las Peinetas, 2swagg Dance Crew, JW Murray Tap, Lost All Sorts Collective, Mission Stiletto, and Ballet International Gala.
Additionally, attendees can enjoy performances from Orana Dance Centre, Tanya Pearson Academy, Dance North Academy, Algeria Dance, Classique Dance, Public Displays of Art, Bold Disability Arts, Down Under the Kilt, and many more!
Ausdance Till Dusk will take place Saturday, 29 April at Martin Place, Sydney CBD from 10 am – 4 pm. This is a free community event, so join them for a full day of performances food and fun! Click here to learn more.
