Applications due soon for New York residency
This year, the Australia Council is offering a residency at the The Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) in New York for emerging and experimental artists. The residency, which has flexible dates, will support the development of a project in a focused environment with feedback from the curatorial staff.
EMPAC is a world-class facility “bringing together scientific discovery, technological and artistic innovation to support new domains of enquiry, research and learning.” It’s residency program provides an environment that supports the realisation of complex works at any stage, from inception to completion. A residency can be up to three weeks in duration.
