Applications close soon for Travel Fellowship
Emerging Australian choreographers under 40 years old are invited to apply for the Ausdance National Keith Bain Choreographic Travel Fellowship, which provides $5,000 for international travel for professional development.
Gabrielle Nankivell, the recipient of the 2014 fellowship, said, “Offering both the gift of time and travel, the Keith Bain Choreographic Travel Fellowship enabled me to scrutinise the conceptual and practical methods with which I create. It assisted me to connect with current international discourse on identity, agency and performance, and to meet some fascinating artists along the way.”
Applications close 1 June 2018. The recipient of this biennial fellowship will be announced at the 2018 Australian Dance Awards in Brisbane.
