AMDA’s looking for its next Aussie students
AMDA is looking for is next Australian students – could it be you? If you’re a hard working dancer, actor or singer looking to train in two of America’s biggest cities brimming with artistic opportunities, then look no further! AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts is located in the star-studded Los Angeles while it’s American Musical and Dramatic Academy is located in the bright lights of New York City.
For dancers specifically, AMDA offers two full time courses: its eight-semester Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Theatre and its four-semester Dance Theatre Conservatory Program. Both AMDA programs provide rigorous conservatory training—graduating skilled, adaptable and marketable dancers.
Dance students will train in everything from the basics (Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Tap, Hip-hop) to Core Techniques to Acting Fundamentals to Singing Technique. They’ll also study Dance Theatre History, Health and Wellness, and Audition Techniques.
AMDA will hold auditions in Sydney on Sunday, August 30 and in Melbourne on Sunday, September 6.
